Forgot / Do Not Understand Access Credentials

Your User-ID (also refered to as Online-ID) and your Access Code are printed on your BCRA membership card, and are emailed to you if you pay online. Typically, the information looks like this...

User-id. SmithJ0309
Access code. 12BC34

On membership cards prior to 2021 the info was presented differently, as (e.g.) SmithJ0309=12BC34 where the first group, e.g. SmithJ0309, is your User-ID and the second group, e.g. 12BC34 is your access code.

Note that the codes are not case-sensitive - the capitalisation of your User-ID is only for convenience.

If you wish to be reminded of this information, please contact Publications Admin. Please note, however, that there is currently no way to automatically send this information to you, so you will have wait for a real person to answer your email.

Common Mistakes

Your user-id is usually based on your surname, followed by your initial, followed by four digits, e.g. SmithJ0309. Make sure you type all the characters. A common mistake is just to type your name or the digits, but not both.

Your access code is six characters long, possibly followed by a hyphen and a further character, e.g. 12BC34 or 12BC34-5. A common mistake is to omit the last two characters, or to use an access code from last year's membership card.
