Agenda for 2005 AGM

  1. Apologies for absence

  2. Establishment of quorum and procedural matters
A quorum of four members of CREG is required. To vote at this meeting, or to be counted in the quorum, you must provide sufficient proof - e.g. membership card - of Personal membership of BCRA in one of the categories other than Associate Member.

  3. Reports from chairman, treasurer, membership secretary and journal editor; and discussion

  4. Motion: This meeting accepts the treasurer's report and requests that it is forwarded to BCRA Council. Proposed: Rob Gill. Seconded: Richard Rushton

  5. Election of Committee
Motion: This meeting proposes that the size and composition of the committee for the coming year shall be unchanged from previous years; namely seven people, i.e. chairman, secretary, treasurer and four others. Proposed: Richard Rushton. Seconded: David Gibson
No nominations for committee posts have been received, but the following people have indicated that they are willing to stand again. Since there is no contest, no vote is necessary. This meeting notes that a further two committee members may be co-opted by the present committee at any time.
    • Richard Rushton: Chairman
    • Secretary: post vacant
    • David Gibson: Treasurer
    • David Ferguson: committee
    • Rob Gill: committee
    • Steve Laugher: committee
    • Chris Trayner: committee

  6. Changes to the Constitution
Motion: This meeting approves the proposals (attached to this agenda) to alter the CREG constitution. Proposed: Richard Rushton. Seconded: David Gibson

  7. Any other business accepted by the chairman

  8. Suggested date and venue for 2006 AGM

Treasurer's Report

The treasurer's report is 99% complete; and the numbers certainly all add up correctly. However, there are some final items for which I am awaiting clarification. I am also away on business at the moment, and so the final report will not be ready until towards the end of November. If you would like to be sent a copy as soon as it is ready, please contact us. David Gibson (Treasurer) 6th Nov 2005
